Vishal Patel is a psychotherapist, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and a graduate of Australian Catholic University.
His goal is to support his clients in identifying barriers that are preventing them from living their lives in their preferred way. He supports his clients by engaging with them through their own narratives and assisting them to develop their resilience and skills to achieve their desired life goals.
Vishal worked extensively with children, adults, older adults, couples, and families and is experienced in assisting them through trauma, loss, abuse, violence, parenting, relationships and other challenges in their own lives and the lives of those close to them.
Vishal takes a systematic perspective in all his work. His area of interest includes addressing issues related to ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and Grief, Borderline personality disorder (BPD), and violence in the lives of children, adults and their families.
